For 12 days every year, the Minnesota State Fair provides fun and entertainment for more that one and a half million visitors. World-famous musicians perform at the Grandstand, while fairground rides thrill at the Midway. The Colisseum hosts a range of exciting events, such as horse shows, and a wide variety of competitions test skills that include cow milking, animal calling and butter carving.
