From bagpipes to bodhrans, corned beef to ceilis, the Irish Fair is a three-day celebration of Irish music, dance, history, theater, children's activities and cultural exhibits on beautiful Harriet Island in downtown Saint Paul. Admission is free.

For 12 days every year, the Minnesota State Fair provides fun and entertainment for more that one and a half million visitors. World-famous musicians perform at the Grandstand, while fairground rides thrill at the Midway. The Colisseum hosts a range of exciting events, such as horse shows, and a wide variety of competitions test skills that include cow milking, animal calling and butter carving.
